There are accidents caused by faulty (dangerous) road design.
Perhaps the stop sign was placed behind tree limbs and no one could see it until the last second and a driver “runs” the stop sign he did not see.
Unfortunately, the driver then slammed into the side of your bike causing you permanent injuries.
Who’s at fault? The driver? The city or county which owns and maintains the road? Both?
Lawyers hire experts to answer, “Whose fault is it?”
When you are in a motorcycle accident, do not only “look” at the other driver for compensation. Maybe the city or county is also at fault.
