The Emergency Outdoor Heat Exposure Rule

Washington State has enacted “The Emergency Outdoor Heat Exposure Rule.”

This rule is designed to protect those working in agriculture, construction, and other outdoor industries.

Washington has an average of 55 workers’ compensation claims per year for heat-related illnesses.

Heat stroke can be deadly. If you are injured through exposure to extreme heat you may have a valid claim for an on the job injury.
